      • Who: Official Awards Judges 

 


    • Stage 4: Official Nominees Announcement – 25 July

    • Stage 5: Physical Verification / Virtual Presentations & Mystery Audits (40%) - 04 August – 14 September

    • Who: Appointed Inspectors

      • Applicable To: High-impact or competitive categories (e.g. Best Country Destination, City Destination, Safari Destination etc)
      • Outcome: Verification reports integrated into final scoring

 


    • Stage 6: Awards College Voting (40%) – 04 August – 24 August

      • Who: Awards College -  select body of 70–100 top African tourism professionals with diverse regional representation
      • How: Secure online portal for scoring based on predefined scoring sheet aligned with category criteria
      • Weight: 40% of total score

 

    • Stage 7: General Public Voting (20%) – 25 August – 14 September

      • Platform: Link via official awards website
      • Security: One vote per verified email/IP/phone number
      • Weight: 20% of total score

       

       

    • Stage 8: Vetting by Judges & Awards Auditors – 15 September – 26 September

      • Who: Awards judges with expertise in tourism, media, sustainability, and customer experience

       

       


    • Stage 9: Winners Announcement & Awards Ceremony – 02 November

      • Venue: Hybrid gala event
      • Recognition: Balearica Trophy, Certificate, Media Features
      • Coverage: Broadcast live, with press kits for media syndication
      • Winners & Finalists: Featured in official Africa Tourism Awards publication and social channels

       

       


    • Stage 10: Post-Award Reporting & Feedback Window – 17 November – 28 November

      • Public Report: Summary of the scoring structure and key outcomes
      • Feedback Loop: Winners and finalists may receive structured feedback for future improvement
